About The Position
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining proper levels of cleanliness in assigned areas. Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
- Experience in a custodial role is preferred.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and provide responses in writing.
- This position requires the possession and maintenance of a valid Virginia vehicle operator’s license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
Responsibilities
- Maintains carpet, and hard surface floors.
- Dusts and polishes furniture.
- Washes walls and removes trash.
- Relamps and cleans windows.
- Cleans and stocks restrooms.
- Performs special event set-up during the week and for weekend events when necessary.
- Supports campus wide activities in the areas of setup, snow and ice removal and any other duties as assigned.
