About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to building maintenance and cleaning. This includes operating light maintenance and cleaning equipment, moving objects, climbing ladders, and following written instructions. The role also requires competence in the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment after suitable instruction. All prospective employees must pass a Level 2 background check.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating light maintenance and cleaning equipment (i.e. mowers, edgers, vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, extractors, etc.).
• Ability to move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to climb a six ft ladder.
• Must be able to independently follow written instructions.
• Must be competent, after suitable instruction, in the proper use of chemicals and compounds used in the custodial process.
• Must be competent, after suitable instruction, in the operation, care and use of all assigned custodial equipment.
• Must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• Background check will include fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
