About The Position

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of work areas, restrooms, and common spaces.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience is required
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment throughout the facility
• Performs routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
• Empties trash and recycling and disposes of waste properly
• Restock supplies like paper products, soap, and other facility items
• Maintains floors, carpets, windows, and surfaces to keep them in good condition
• Operates and maintains cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.)
• Assists with room setups for meetings or events when needed
• Follows safety procedures and works as part of a team to meet cleaning and maintenance standards
• Other duties as assigned
