About The Position

Providence Catholic School is seeking a Christian role model who will serve as a member of the custodial staff. This position involves maintaining a safe, clean, and positive learning environment for the school community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to complete the physical demands of the job
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Use appropriately all chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Secure the building as necessary at the end of the shift/day.
• Empty trash, replace disposable products and remove stains/marks daily.
• Properly maintain floors throughout the assigned area/building.
• Ensure proper set-up for events/activities as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain outdoors by picking up trash and upkeep of the lawn (Grounds Maintenance).
• Report any damage, malfunction or breakage of equipment or facility in a timely manner and take appropriate interim steps to ensure safety.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs in a timely manner, and as directed or outlined by supervisor.
• Actively support a safe, clean and positive learning environment for the school community.
