About The Position

Providence Catholic School is seeking a Christian role model to serve as a member of the custodial staff. This position involves maintaining a safe, clean, and positive learning environment for the school community. The role requires the ability to perform various cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks, as well as minor repairs.

Requirements

Ability to complete the physical demands of the job.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Christian role model within the school community.
Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals appropriately.
Secure the building at the end of the shift/day.
Empty trash, replace disposable products, and remove stains/marks daily.
Properly maintain floors throughout the assigned area/building.
Ensure proper set-up for events/activities as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain outdoors by picking up trash and upkeep of the lawn (Grounds Maintenance).
Report any damage, malfunction, or breakage of equipment or facility in a timely manner and take appropriate interim steps to ensure safety.
Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs in a timely manner, and as directed or outlined by supervisor.
Actively support a safe, clean, and positive learning environment for the school community.
