Under limited supervision, performs work of routine difficulty in the cleaning and maintenance of County facilities. This role involves identifying and reporting repair needs, performing minor repairs, and grounds maintenance including snow removal. The position may also assist with special events. Essential functions include standing, walking, crouching, and stooping for extended periods, lifting and carrying items up to 60 lbs, and frequent repetitive hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder motions for cleaning. The role requires working with and around other employees and coworkers, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, and possessing touch and finger dexterity for cleaning tasks. Environmental conditions include hazards from equipment like vacuum cleaners and buffers, and exposure to chemicals from cleaning supplies, floor and window cleaners, and wax. Atmospheric conditions may include fumes from chemicals, odors from cleaning products, office dust, and mist from spray bottles/aerosols.
