About The Position
GRBS is seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join their team at Portland Public Schools. This is a full-time, second shift position, Monday through Friday, with a scheduled weekend rotation. The ideal candidate is 18 years or older, possesses a positive attitude, is a team player, customer service-focused, dependable, self-motivated, hard-working, and has reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent work attendance.
- Follow GRBS processes.
- Communicate mindfully and respectfully with all individuals.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks according to building maps and shift requirements.
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Performing other cleaning tasks as assigned.
