About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various facility areas, both indoors and outdoors. The Custodian will perform a range of cleaning duties to ensure compliance with AIB requirements and support plant TPM goals. This position requires adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling chemicals.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize plant drains on the production floor.
Empty garbage and perform perimeter cleaning of all buildings.
Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and wash windows.
Dust surfaces and clean sinks and toilets in restrooms.
Clean tables, chairs, coffee pots, microwaves, counters, and refrigerators in breakrooms.
Clean floors underneath vending machines, refrigerators, and ice machines.
Pick up garbage in parking lots and around the outside of buildings.
Perform landscaping duties.
Empty cigarette containers and pick up cigarette butts.
Clean and maintain outside dumpster areas.
Perform perimeter cleaning and sweeping of the entire building (front, back, side) for trash.
Complete deep cleaning and sanitation PMs in restrooms, facility storage areas, and exterior grounds.
Restock supplies such as hand towels, toilet paper, soap, napkins, utensils, and sugar.
Inventory, order, and stock janitorial cleaning chemicals by communicating with suppliers.
Write work orders for needed maintenance in assigned areas.
Work in a safe and controlled manner, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Complete daily sanitation checklist duties following authorized SOPs.
Maintain areas of responsibility in compliance with AIB requirements and in an audit-ready state.
Support plant TPM goals and participate on TPM teams as required.
Participate in NWTs.
Cover other janitorial areas for vacations and absenteeism.
Handle special assignments or other duties as assigned by Facility Management.
