About The Position

Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing duties and maintain the cleanliness of the building and the surrounding grounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Entry-level support role
• Can perform routine tasks as directed
• Completes assignments with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored following use
• Emptying trash receptacles and recycling bins, disposing of waste, and cleaning containers
• Replenish products and supplies in assigned area
• Help with the inventory and ordering of products for lunchrooms
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaner
• Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing fixtures, or light painting.
• Alert appropriate personnel concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Notify supervisor of need to order various cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Remove and dispose of debris or trash.
• May perform basic maintenance and repair duties, including outside grounds work as required.
