About The Position

Perform various interior and exterior professional janitorial and custodial services. This includes interior cleaning activities for kitchen, restrooms, and office areas, trash and recyclables maintenance, and dusting. Responsibilities also extend to steam cleaning carpets, buffing floors, and waxing as needed. Exterior janitorial activities include cleaning windows, lawn maintenance, and sidewalks. The role involves developing and coordinating a schedule for custodial maintenance services and ordering/maintaining necessary supplies. Compliance with all safety requirements and the use of applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Daily cleaning of the work area and performing preventative maintenance and equipment checks are also key aspects of the position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read labels and understand instructions in order to mix and use cleaning chemicals correctly
Ability to operate various interior and exterior equipment

Nice To Haves

1 to 3 years of previous professional custodial services preferred
A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
