About The Position
Facilities Management Systems (FMS), a company of The Nutrition Group that operates custodial and maintenance management services, is hiring a Custodian for a local K–12 school district. FMS has been operating since 1986. The position is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM during the school year. Summer hours are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Duties include cleaning school areas, removing trash, and following proper chemical-handling procedures. Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read labels to ensure proper chemical usage.
- Good attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.
Responsibilities
- Clean hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, offices, gymnasium, and restrooms daily.
- Remove trash.
- Follow proper chemical-handling procedures.
- Pay attention to detail.
