About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a 3rd Shift Custodian to join their team at the Distribution Center in Aberdeen, MD. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean and organized operational environment, supporting the warehouse staff who are the backbone of the company's success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to customers. The custodian will be responsible for various cleaning tasks and general building upkeep.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Successfully pass a drug test (including marijuana).
- Successfully pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- No experience required - training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
- Empty trash receptacles.
- Clear snow.
- Maintain landscaping.
- Support the team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations.
