About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment at Arbor View High School. The role involves general upkeep of the school facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.

Requirements

• High school graduation or other equivalent (General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
• A valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal.
• Maintain the cleanliness of windows, floors, and carpets.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up for school events and activities.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all assigned areas are clean and presentable at the end of each shift.
