About The Position

This position is for a Custodian at Atlantic HS, working evening shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. All recommended applicants must comply with procedures designated by the Superintendent and School Board Policy 3.10 to be eligible for employment. This includes completing required federal, state, and School Board forms, as well as forms related to employee benefits. The School District of Palm Beach County is a drug and alcohol-free workplace, and all employment categories are subject to drug testing. Applicants testing positive for drugs will not be hired. Certain employment categories also require a pre-employment medical examination and clearance. The medical examination may include a physical examination and testing for various health conditions. Non-instructional applicants for some clerical positions must pass a Keyboarding Test with a required WPM. Finalists may be required to undergo background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

  • Must comply with procedures designated by the Superintendent and School Board Policy 3.10.
  • Must complete forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board.
  • Must complete forms related to the employee benefits package.
  • Must pass drug testing.
  • May be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and receive medical clearance.
  • May be required to take a Keyboarding Test and meet WPM requirements for certain clerical positions.
  • May be required to undergo background screening through AHCA and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
  • Must be able to perform the physically demanding functions of the position as determined by a Post Offer Employment Test.
