About The Position
Under direct supervision, performs work in routine cleaning involving the performance of a variety of manual and custodial tasks in and around public buildings and premises such as: dusting, mopping, waxing, cleaning, moving furniture and equipment, etc. as well as the maintenance of custodial equipment. Performs related work as directed. Future positions may require driving of a Parish vehicle, thus possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record will be given preference on such positions.
Requirements
- Free from any condition which would prevent the safe and efficient performance of essential duties
- Acceptable personal history background
- Ability to follow simple written and oral instructions
- Ability to perform heavy manual work
