About The Position
The Custodian is responsible for performing routine custodial duties in an assigned area to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning windows and other surfaces. The Custodian may also be responsible for minor maintenance tasks and reporting any needed repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform routine custodial duties.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
