About The Position

GRBS is seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team at Ionia Public Schools. This is a full-time position with consistent hours, Monday through Friday, with one scheduled weekend per month. We are looking for individuals who are 18 years of age or older, possess a positive attitude, are team players, customer service focused, dependable, self-motivated, hard-working, and have reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. GRBS has over 100 years of experience and is committed to providing honorable and safe employment, fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently

• Finish the job to the building map and shift
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
