About The Position
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in all areas of our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our premises are presentable and hygienic for employees, clients, and visitors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
