About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of stores, buildings, and other facilities. The role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, assisting with event setups, and ensuring a safe and satisfactory environment for customers and staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
No specific experience required
Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers)
Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain)
Organizing, sorting, categorizing, counting, adding, subtracting
Interpreting data
Problem Solving
Communicating with the public
Creating written communication
Completing written orders

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Dust and wipe furniture.
Empty wastebaskets and trash containers.
Handle recycle materials.
Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, and conferences.
Strip, clean, buff, and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors.
Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools such as buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.
Follow instructions regarding the safe use of chemicals and supplies.
Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks and stairs within sixteen feet of the building.
Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture.
Report any potential hazards or accidents.
Participate in annual safety training.
Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
