About The Position
The Custodian Porter cleans and sanitizes venue areas, including restrooms, dining areas, and kitchen spaces, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests. The role includes disposing of waste, caring for floors, performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring cleaning-supply inventory, and reporting maintenance or safety issues. Duties are performed in accordance with applicable health and safety guidelines and regulations. Specific circumstances may require or allow the employee to perform a different combination of duties.
Requirements
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning duties.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, kitchen spaces, and other venue areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need to be reordered.
- Report maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel.
- Support a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and regulations.
