About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Custodian Manager to supervise and assist custodians, ensuring established standards of cleanliness are followed. This role involves cleaning and maintaining public areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms. The Custodian Manager will oversee daily operations, maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas, and handle property clean-up, including bio-chemical/bio-hazard materials. Additionally, the role includes stocking linen supplies and ensuring the preventative care of equipment and supplies. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 or 21 (varies by property)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 -2 years of cleaning experience.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, generally the duration of a shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist custodians.
• Ensure the established standards of cleanliness are followed.
• Clean and maintain public areas; i.e. hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms etc.
• Supervise and assist custodians with daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; pick up and remove trash and debris.
• Responsible for property clean up including bio-chemical/bio-hazard material.
• Stock linen supplies.
• Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
