About The Position

Ohio Custodial Management has been a respected contract cleaning company for over 40 years, known for its capabilities and personalized customer attention. They provide high-quality janitorial services to commercial office buildings, warehouse and logistics centers, education facilities, and healthcare facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of client facilities, including trash removal, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning and stocking restrooms, operating machinery like forklifts, and performing other assigned cleaning duties.

Requirements

  • Successfully pass a background check, fingerprinting, and a 10-panel drug screen.
  • Able to operate mechanical equipment (i.e. vacuums, scrubbers, strippers, etc.)
  • Able to use reasoning and judgment
  • Able to apply math skills to various custodial tasks (i.e. how much cleaning solution needed for area being cleaned)
  • Able to communicate in writing effectively
  • Able to stand, walk, bend twist,knellat various times through the entire shift
  • Able to lift and move, up to 40 pounds
  • Authorized to work in the US – We Use eVerify

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator.
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service to our clients in the form of comprehensive, detailed cleaning and a friendly demeanor.
  • Clean floors using various methods and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize touch points and surfaces.
  • Restock and clean restrooms.
  • Inform supervisor when inventory is low.
  • Successfully operate a forklift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
