About The Position

Waccamaw Management is hiring a Part Time Maintenance Custodian to support its high-end condominium community in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role involves 20 hours a week, 5 days a week, including Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. The position is off on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
Customer service driven and team oriented.
Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, use hands and fingers, have clear vision, walk, stoop, kneel and climb.
Must be able to work in all elements of weather conditions

Responsibilities

Walk and inspect the community for cleanliness.
Clean assigned areas including furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds and vents.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum all area floors, rest rooms and break areas.
Clean rest room facilities and replenish supplies.
Perform general cleaning, light floor care.
Collect and remove trash and recyclable.
Ensuring grounds are free of litter and debris.
Assist with light landscaping to include maintaining flower beds.
Use a blower for parking lots and stairs. Power wash areas.
Assist with light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, painting and repair.
Replace light bulbs, light sockets, and light fixtures.
Assist with routine and preventative maintenance.
Other duties as requested.
