About The Position

ServiceMaster Facilities Maintenance is seeking a dependable Custodian/Janitor to provide routine cleaning and custodial services at an assigned customer location in Franklin, Tennessee. The role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment while following established cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and service standards. The position is part-time, with scheduled shifts Friday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow cleaning procedures and instructions.
• Dependable and able to maintain reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with routine custodial work.

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and other assigned areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean spills and address routine cleaning needs safely and promptly.
• Clean and maintain common areas, workspaces, and other assigned areas.
• Restock and organize cleaning supplies as needed.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer requirements.
• Complete assigned work independently and efficiently.
• Report supply needs, maintenance concerns, safety issues, or other problems to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.
