About The Position

The Custodian supports daily retail operations and facility upkeep. This role provides customer service, helps maintain secure entry procedures, supports inventory activities, and ensures the store and common areas are clean, safe, and presentable.

Requirements

• Customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Ability to follow written checklists, procedures, and basic safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move stocked items and cleaning supplies as required.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of the breakroom, service counter, floors, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas using the cleaning checklist (e.g., sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash).
• Perform weekly deep-cleaning tasks per the cleaning checklist for the breakroom, service counter, floors, and restrooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, report facility or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Verify customer identification at the door in accordance with site policies and procedures as needed.
• Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed.
• Assist with barcoding/labeling merchandise and supporting basic inventory tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
