Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality focused Custodian/Janitor to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.

Responsibilities
- Follows cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) as outlined for Housekeeping Department.
- Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, fixtures, gutters, power washing outside walkways, resident patios, parking areas, etc. according to established procedures.
- Cleans floors: Dry mop, wet mop, sweeps, disinfects where and when necessary.
- Cleans carpeting and rugs: vacuums carpeting, shampoo & extract carpets and rugs.
- Straightens or rearranges furniture, as directed.
- Inspects furnishings for wear and defects and reports to supervisor.
- Cleans stairways, entrances, exits.
- Performs miscellaneous other duties such as but not limited, removing waste and disposal of waste and trash, sending soiled linen to laundry.
- Washes windows inside and outside of residential and commons area.
