Custodian/Janitor - Chicago (NC)
About The Position
Blue Bird Day, a pediatric therapy clinic, is seeking a full-time Custodian/Janitor to join their collaborative team. The role involves cleaning and maintaining organization of all rooms according to a provided schedule, preparing treatment rooms for therapy to ensure safety, and sanitizing high-usage areas. The Custodian/Janitor will also clean office, kitchen, and high-traffic areas multiple times daily, assist management as needed, and attend staff meetings and company events. The position requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of custodian experience
- Experience working in a school or alike setting with children and/or clients with special needs preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain organization of all rooms based on provided schedule; site location may vary depending on company needs.
- Prepare treatment rooms for therapy to ensure safety of all staff and clients.
- Sanitize highly used areas with provided schedule.
- Clean office work areas, kitchen areas, and high usage areas several time daily.
- Assist management as needed.
- Report directly to your supervisor.
- Attend staff meetings and company events as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Additional tasks as needed.
