About The Position
The Custodian & Janitor cleans and maintains buildings and grounds to ensure they remain neat and clean on a daily basis. This is a part-time position with benefits, working an evening shift that begins at 4:00 PM each workday. The position is located at the Augusta Kroc in Augusta, Georgia.
Requirements
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform housekeeping and minor maintenance work.
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.
- Six months of experience performing general housekeeping duties.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks and toilets; polish mirrors and replenish supplies.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors, and sweep sidewalks.
- Clean windows.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
