About The Position

Requirements

  • Six (6) months of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to the position.
  • Must be a Colorado Resident at the time of application.
  • The selected candidate must pass a physical capacity test.
  • The selected candidate must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and/or locker rooms including partitions, doors, floors, counters, sinks, showers, toilets and walls
  • Clean all public and common areas and classrooms
  • Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum
  • Clean mirrors and windows
  • Restock soaps and paper products
  • Clean and disinfect drinking fountains
  • Spot clean walls, doors and vending machines
  • Dust furniture, blinds, flat surfaces and vents
  • Report signs of insects or rodents
  • Use cleaning machines/equipment (such as carpet extractors, floor buffers, pressure washers, and more) to clean floors, remove soap scum/hard water build-up, and clean windows
  • Prepare campus housing units in between occupancies, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces
  • Empty and clean recycling and waste containers, as needed
  • Move waste and recycling to appropriate locations
  • Clean after facilities projects and campus events
  • Clean individual offices or building areas upon request
  • Clear leaves and snow from entryways of campus buildings
  • Assist with setting up or taking down for campus events
