About The Position

Responsible for the cleanliness of the vessel and pavilion areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, polishing, cleaning, scrubbing, dusting, vacuuming, and collecting trash. The role involves operating various cleaning equipment and using a variety of cleaning chemicals. The custodian will also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, keeping them supplied, and washing walls, doors, windows, mirrors, and equipment. Miscellaneous duties as directed by a supervisor/manager are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Understand importance of customer service.
• Operate equipment listed above.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, polish, clean, scrub, dust, vacuum, and collect trash.
• Operate cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, extractors, stripping/buffing machines, backpack vacuums, walk-behind vacuums, and traditional vacuum cleaners.
• Use a variety of cleaning chemicals.
• Climb and work from a ten-foot ladder.
• Extensive walking during working hours.
• Pull large amounts of trash from garbage cans and empty mobile trash carts.
• Clean and disinfect rest rooms and fixtures; keep rest rooms supplied with towels, soap and other supplies as needed.
• Wash walls, doors, windows, mirrors and equipment.
• Perform all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
