About The Position
Shawnee Health Service, a leading healthcare organization in Southern Illinois with over 380 team members, is seeking a part-time Custodian I for their Shawnee Health Carbondale Same Day/Pharmacy location. The role is integral to the organization's mission of providing care and fostering success.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean and sanitize high touch areas
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
