About The Position

Davis County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for a full time Custodian l or ll in Farmington, Utah. This position performs routine cleaning work. Requirements

Must pass a criminal history background investigation as required by the position.
This is an entry level position requiring no minimum amount of education or experience.
If you have current custodian experience you will be paid for it.
If this line of work is new to you we're happy to train you.

Nice To Haves

Preference for high school graduation or equivalent.
Preference for experience in cleaning office buildings or correctional facilities.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, vacuums, mops, waxes and buffs floors; dusts, empties trash cans, cleans windows and rest rooms; maintains building entrances.
Clears debris from sidewalks and parking lots.
Performs minor maintenance and repairs as requested or assigned; replaces lamps and light bulbs.
Carries out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
Operates custodial power tools and cleaning equipment.
Operates a motor vehicle in a safe manner and in compliance with all Utah laws and regulations.
Operates a computer to check emails, calendar events, track or add work assignments, and make timesheet updates.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Moves and sets up equipment and furniture for meetings and events; returns equipment and furniture at the completion of event
