About The Position
The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building, i.e., preserve property values, protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning, develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness. This is a year-round position. The role includes grounds upkeep and snow removal. The custodian will perform all other general duties as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School Committee.
Requirements
- Physical and mental capabilities to perform the work.
- Ability to understand spoken and written English.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

Benefits
- Starting Salary: $50,158.00 plus nightly differential of 7% and an increase after 6 consecutive months of service
