About The Position

Responsible for performing general Grounds Keeping and Custodial duties throughout the center. This role involves maintaining outdoor areas, operating machinery, performing minor building construction, and handling interior/exterior janitorial tasks. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Six months experience, to include transportation and/or building maintenance.
• Must possess a valid State driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification.
• Ability to operate power tools.
• Ability to operate office equipment.
• Ability to read at a high school level.
• Ability to write at a high school level.

Nice To Haves

• One year or more work-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for the outdoor areas of the Center.
• Operates machinery such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, tractors, etc.
• Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
• Performs minor building construction tasks.
• Performs interior and exterior center janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping assignments.
• Attends required staff training sessions as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
