About The Position

This is a float position covering all assignments as needed for the Gonda surgery team. The role involves terminal cleaning of Operating Rooms (ORs) and performing project cleaning work as requested. The Custodian will work with the Lead person/supervisor to facilitate smooth daily operations and may be required to work at multiple sites. Flexibility is essential to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. The role requires standing and walking for scheduled shifts, with occasional lifting of 50 to 75 pounds and frequent lifting of 25 pounds. Responsibilities include working at elevated levels and performing various tasks such as emergency cleanups, construction cleanups, and room set-ups.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks within work shift.
• Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
