About The Position

This is a float position covering all assignments as needed for the Gonda surgery team. Responsibilities include terminal cleaning of ORs and performing project cleaning work as requested. The role requires flexibility to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflows. The custodian will work with the Lead person/supervisor to facilitate smooth daily operations and may be required to work at multiple sites.

Requirements

• Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.
• Required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts.
• Occasional lifting of 50 to 75 pounds and frequently lifting 25 pounds.
• Required working at elevated levels.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate smooth daily operations with the Lead person/supervisor.
• Work at multiple sites as required.
• Respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.
• Stand and walk for scheduled shifts.
• Perform occasional lifting of 50 to 75 pounds and frequent lifting of 25 pounds.
• Work at elevated levels.
• Perform various tasks including emergency cleanups, construction cleanups, and room set-ups.
• Perform terminal cleaning of ORs.
• Perform project cleaning work as requested.
