About The Position
Custodian 1 Join our team and help keep Lakeland Village clean and safe. As a Custodian 1, the work you'll do impacts every part of the facility. Clean, sanitized spaces help staff do their jobs and help residents feel safe. You'll sweep, mop, and polish floors, clean and disinfect bathrooms, and keep dispensers stocked with supplies.
Requirements
- Must be age 18 or older to be considered for this position.
- Employees driving on state business must have a valid driver's license.
- Employees driving a privately owned vehicle on state business must have liability insurance on the privately owned vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred for this position.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, top scrub, and polish floors.
- Clean and disinfect walls, doors, counters, ledges, furniture, and equipment.
- Wash windows and glass, and vacuum carpet and carpet runners.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, tubs, and shower rooms, including toilets and sinks.
- Keep dispensers stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and air freshener.
- Empty trash containers, and clean and wash porch areas.
- Remove snow when necessary.
Benefits
- Additional 5% premium pay on top of the advertised salary for positions performed on-site at this work location at least three days per week.
