About The Position

This is a part-time, first-shift position for a Custodial Worker. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with the majority of time spent indoors. The job requires physical exertion, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. Basic math, reading, communication, and writing skills are necessary. Sensory skills such as vision and touch are also important.

Responsibilities

Works inside and outside with adequate equipment, but is subject to weather temperature changes and physical exertion in lifting, moving and operating equipment.
Sitting –0%; walking – 35%; standing – 65%
Working indoors – 95% and Outdoors – 5%
Reaching for objects at, above and below shoulder
Frequent twisting at waist, and stretching to reach objects
Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing between 25-50 pounds
Frequent pushing and pulling of objects weighing over 50 pounds.
Counting and basic math skills
Reading skills including understanding written documents
Limited verbal communication and writing skills
Sensory skills, i.e. visual and touch
