About The Position

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is an internationally accredited agency whose mission is to protect life and property, promote traffic safety and provide professional public safety services with respect, compassion, and unbiased professionalism. This role involves cleaning and maintaining living facilities for the OSHP Cadet classes, assisting with setup and cleanup for various events, checking in supplies, stocking supply closets, and reporting equipment repair needs or any violations of Academy Rules and Regulations to a supervisor.

Requirements

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary.
Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
Custodial job skills.

Responsibilities

Clean & maintain living facilities for the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Cadet classes.
Assist in set up & clean-up of classrooms, training programs, seminars, meetings & other events.
Check in supplies & stock supply closets.
Report need for equipment repair & evidence of fire, illegal entry & theft of property.
Report any violation of Academy Rules & Regulations to supervisor.
