The general custodian will be responsible for completing assigned custodial responsibilities in a commercial cleaning account. This role requires completing all tasks within the specified allotted time while ensuring a high level of quality. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming various areas, cleaning furniture, emptying trash, handling recycling, sanitizing bathrooms, refilling restroom dispensers, and operating power vacuums. The custodian must select and use appropriate chemicals with correct dilution ratios and techniques, following all manufacturer recommendations. They will also assist with facility setups for events, follow instructions from the Account Manager, adhere to daily job routines and cleaning procedures, and follow all safety procedures when operating equipment. The role involves reporting equipment malfunctions or unusual occurrences to the Account Manager, ensuring customer quality expectations are met, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and supply rooms in an orderly fashion. Regular attendance and maintaining a positive work atmosphere are expected. The custodian is responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
