About The Position

This is an examination for the Custodial Worker Supervisor position (OPEN). By submitting an application, you are applying to take a Civil Service Examination for the opportunity to be placed on an Eligible List for a future opening. The examination is designed to test the objectives of the duties and minimum qualifications of the classification. The application period is from 06/15/2026 to 06/29/2026. Salary ranges from $25.07 to $28.86 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of housekeeping training.
• Two years of full-time paid managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
• If a promotional exam is given, must be a Custodial Worker for a minimum of two years.
• Must include/attach any required documents (i.e. Resume, Certifications, Driver’s License, etc…) to support you meet the Minimum Qualifications at the time of submitting your application.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns the work performed by Custodial Workers.
• Performs custodial tasks.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and tools.
• Trains employees in correct safety procedures, policies, and cleaning methods.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
