Requirements

- Willing and able to work in Allegheny County, PA
- Experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaning person (experience may include cleaning restrooms, resident rooms, offices, or public areas; mopping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, and buffing)
- Experience interacting with patients or residents while cleaning inpatient and resident rooms or in a dining room setting
- Experience cleaning bodily fluids and disposing of infectious waste in proper storage areas
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and specialized spaces
- Clean floors, walls, fixtures, and furnishings using proper methods and equipment
- Sanitize restrooms and restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and trash bags
- Empty trash containers, dispose of waste properly, and handle recyclable and infectious materials
- Move furniture, clean mobility equipment, and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Assist with snow removal, supply delivery, and training of new employees when needed
