About The Position
Take on a meaningful role with the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Bureau of Education and Training as a Custodial Worker 1. This position gives you a chance to help keep the PSP Academy facilities clean, organized, and ready for daily activity. Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.
- Be able to perform essential job functions.
- Pass criminal history and background investigations if you do not have a current Pennsylvania State Police background on file.
- Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Clean offices, classrooms, dormitory areas, hallways, and stairways, including mopping, dusting, emptying trash, and ensuring lighting is operational
- Clean restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas and restock bathroom supplies
- Operate and maintain cleaning machinery and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness in additional assigned spaces throughout the grounds
- Assist with duties during catastrophic incidents and report to designated locations when directed
