Under direct supervision, the Custodial Services Worker performs duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the facility. The role maintains custodial supplies and performs general janitorial and assigned maintenance-related duties. Responsibilities

Maintain custodial supplies and restock assigned areas as needed.
Clean and straighten assigned areas.
Perform floor care and maintenance.
Collect, sort, launder, transport, and distribute linens and uniforms.
Follow required safety precautions when handling and disposing of contaminated refuse.
Operate hand tools as needed.
Respond to general maintenance requests and perform janitorial duties inside and outside the facility.
Clean and maintain common areas in Main Control, the Administrative Building, C Cottage, and the Education Departments.
Ensure common areas are properly cleaned and stocked with daily necessities.
Remove trash and maintain waste-disposal areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Vacuum and maintain common areas.
Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitary.
