About The Position

The Custodial Services Specialist performs environmental services needed to care for Our Blood Institute facilities. This includes maintaining cleanliness across assigned facilities and completing housekeeping tasks and work orders as assigned. The position is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with hours Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pay is $14.00–$18.00 per hour based on education and/or experience, with a $500 bonus after six months and a $1,000 bonus after one year.

Requirements

Several years of hands-on housekeeping experience; experience in a medical setting is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Dependability, responsibility, honesty, and fairness, and the ability to perform under stress.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of assigned OBI facilities.
Perform environmental services, including cleaning restrooms and common areas, dusting offices, and cleaning break rooms.
Complete tasks associated with work order requests as assigned by the supervisor.
Empty waste containers, including biohazardous waste.
Operate housekeeping equipment, including buffers and hard-floor and carpet machines.
Shampoo carpets and maintain all other floors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
