About The Position

Campus Services Group (CSG) is looking for a motivated School Account Manager in Training (MIT) eager to develop the skills necessary for a leadership role in our environmental services. If you’re ready to learn and grow in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you! This role requires flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift based on business needs and the ability to travel between the 5 boroughs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in environmental services within a healthcare or school setting
Basic computer skills preferred.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
Must be able to work around cleaning products.
Must provide a criminal background check.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

bachelor’s degree preferred
supervisory experience desired

Responsibilities

Learn and perform job assignments of day porter, custodian, and floor technician while teaching others to operate various industrial cleaning and laundry equipment.
Lead small groups of staff in cleaning and laundry tasks across varying shifts.
Acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements to eventually manage custodial and floor care staff at a single site.
Develop skills in payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, and budgeting.
Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
Utilize protective gear appropriately and maintain a professional demeanor.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
