About The Position

Performs maintenance and improvement operations for the facility and grounds, including preventative maintenance. The role is primarily responsible for keeping the building and grounds clean and well-maintained, including landscaping, parking lots, fields, locker rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, bleachers, hallways, and other assigned areas. The position may involve moving between multiple buildings, branches, or zones.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record under the association's driving standards.
• Be able to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Have sufficient physical strength, agility, and mobility to carry out essential duties.
• Be able and willing to work nights and weekends.
• Have a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, carpentry, and other maintenance-related areas.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and advise management or staff about maintenance or equipment issues when appropriate.
• Clean and maintain the facility and surroundings according to the custodial cleaning schedule and facility needs.
• Operate grounds equipment, including lawn mowers, weed wackers, and salt spreaders.
• Cut grass, spray or pull weeds, power wash, remove snow, and perform other labor as required.
• Operate floor and carpet machines for deep cleaning and heavy-duty projects, including floor waxing, carpet extraction, and tile and grout cleaning.
• Maintain parking lots and exterior grounds by removing trash and debris.
• Assist with event setups by moving tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Move between multiple buildings, branches, or zones as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
