About The Position

Wilkes University invites applicants for a Custodial, Grounds, & Logistics Manager in Custodial & Grounds. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing custodial, grounds, and logistics operations across the University while supporting efficient campus operations, service quality, and resource management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance or customer service-related operation
  • Strong skills in planning, budgeting, staff leadership, communication, and records management
  • Knowledge of facilities operations, Microsoft Office, and CMMS programs

Responsibilities

  • Directing custodial and grounds operations for university-owned and leased facilities
  • Overseeing event support and moving services
  • Serving as the primary liaison for major event setups and physical relocations
  • Managing space requests and maintaining space management records and systems
  • Leading staff recruitment, training, development, and supervision
  • Overseeing budgets, purchasing, and expense management
  • Tracking sustainability initiatives and recycling efforts
  • Supporting capital project tracking and small project management
