About The Position

We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Custodial Floater at a retail center in Waikiki located in Honolulu. This position requires strong communication skills and a customer service-focused mindset. While previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or similar fields is beneficial, we are willing to train the right candidate. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Must prescreen check
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
Strong public relations and communication skills
Capability to perform basic manual labor, maintain cleanliness in common areas, frequently lift, push, press, pull, and carry a minimum of 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds), reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down stairs, use elevators, and stand throughout shifts.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma/GED preferred
Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience is preferred, but training will be provided

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility
Perform tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, emptying trash into designated areas, replacing trash bag liners, cleaning escalators and elevators, and addressing spills
Lift trash from bins, bend, and navigate staircases
Clean restrooms and restock supplies as needed
Stand and walk for extended periods
Communicate effectively and comprehend English
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
Push trash bins as required
Complete other duties as assigned by management or the property manager
