About The Position

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provides some work direction to custodial staff. The incumbent completes assigned duties with minimal supervision, interacts positively with customer/client contacts and Endeavors staff, and responds to requests personally and effectively. The role helps ensure exceptional custodial services are maintained at customer facilities.

Requirements

• Four months to one year of experience as a custodian.
• Valid driver's license with a clear record.
• Daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
• Availability and willingness to travel to various locations as frequently as business needs dictate.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, present a friendly and positive demeanor, and make oral presentations.
• Ability to remain calm and maintain self-control during difficult circumstances and emergencies, and to respond professionally in all situations.
• Ability to set work priorities, evaluate and solve work-related problems, think analytically, and assess the impact of decisions.
• Ability to plan ahead several months to a year, organize ongoing projects, maintain accurate files, concentrate and remember details, manage time, and meet multiple deadlines.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance, as determined by the employer.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits and follow applicable worker safety practices, including using required personal protective equipment.
• Perform janitorial duties as necessary to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned by the Custodial Manager and Supervisors.
• Maintain required records, such as inventory, checklists, and cleaning inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service by placing the child, family, Veteran, or client first in support of the organization's mission.
